CUSTOM ART AGREEMENT
Th Custom Art Agreement is the contract used for the Customer to officially commission the Artist. To commission the artist, please contact me.
BOOKING
Burning of art ordered will begin by the Start Date agreed upon by Customer and Artist as long as the order is paid in full and usable reference photos are received. Payment is required to hold Customer’s booking dates (see Payments or Payment Plan).
PAYMENTS
Payments are non-refundable. Customer may choose to pay in full up front, or use the Payment Plan.
PAYMENT PLAN
If Customer chooses the payment plan, Customer is charged a booking fee of ½ the total amount due. This fee holds the Customer’s booking date, is due at the signing of the Custom Art Agreement, and is non-refundable. This fee is applied to Customer’s 1st payment when the 2nd payment is received. If 2nd payment is not received by the Start Date, the booking fee is forfeited by Customer, and Artist may book another customer for that time.
CUSTOM ARTWORK
Artist needs 2-4 months lead time to create portraits and art collection packages, and 1-3 weeks lead time for most other artwork. The Customer and Artist will agree on a Start Date. This is when the Customer provides the Artist with reference photos, 2nd payment if applicable, and the Artist begins to design the artwork for Customer's approval. Customer and Artist will also agree on a Completion Date, which is the date Customer should receive the ordered art.
REFERENCE PHOTO(S)
Please submit high quality photos for art reference. If the photos are too low quality, burning may be delayed, and Artist will request new reference photo(s) from the Customer.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
On the agreed Start Date, Artist will use the reference photos provided by Customer to design the artwork. Once the Customer approves the initial design, Artist will send Customer progress photos via email or social media approximately once per week.
SEALANT & SHIPPING
When the burning is complete, the artwork is sealed and hanging hardware is attached. Different products require different sealants and drying times. Portrait sealant takes 14 days to fully harden, less for other pieces. Expect artwork to ship between 2-14 days after the Customer’s final approval to allow for these drying times. OTHER LEGALITIES
Artist retains copyright of all artwork. Customer may post photos on social media of said artwork with credit given to Red Roof Barn LLC or Jannie Lisonbee. By commissioning this Artist, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that the resulting artwork and progress photos of said artwork can and will be publicly displayed on websites, social media, and other places on the internet as Artist sees fit, as well as on marketing materials, pamphlets, and all other forms of printed or digital media as Artist sees fit. Customer will give or deny permission for Artist to use Customer names when displaying artwork on the Custom Art Agreement.
